ANYWHERE BUT HERE…
Life sometimes deals us
The worst possible of hands
And it seems the harder that I try
The less it follows my plans
Every door I knock upon
Gets slammed back in my face
And every path I try to take
Is going a hectic pace
Nothing seems to fit my life
Not even what
is in the mirror
And how I hope and pray and beg
To be anywhere but here
I see the walls a crumbling
The cracks are plain as day
I know the time to run is here
But I am afraid to choose the way
For every choice I feel is right
Is just the devil in disguise
I fell so stressed and overwhelmed
I’m afraid to close my eyes
My mind is spinning round and round
I feel the end is near
How I wish it all would end
Please take me anywhere but here
