Daddy is a name
That few men ever earn
A brave man to look up to
To listen to and learn
There are little eyes upon him
Seeing every move he makes
There are little feet that follow him
Down every path he takes
There’s a little heart that loves him
In each and every way
And little ears listen to him
Each and every day
There’s a little one who treasures
Every breath that he should take
And would until eternity
Follow every move he makes
Daddy is a name
Deserved by very few
But if anyone has earned it
Daddy it is you!!
